Leader Blade Station Completes
New Maintenance Facility for Adams County
Taylor Kohrs recently completed construction of the new Leader Blade Station in Adams County. This 4,000 sf facility was designed by D2C Architects and allows Adams County to provide more timely and efficient road maintenance services to residents.
The Leader Blade Station is a pre-engineered metal building with four vehicle storage bays, a lounge, kitchenette, restrooms and showers. The facility also includes flex space for various meeting and work needs.
Taylor Kohrs’ work also included adding a pump and water treatment system that provides fresh water to the building, a leach field for the septic system, small detention pond, culverts, headwalls, inlet and outlet, approach pans, concrete pads and a 4,000 gallon above-ground diesel fueling station.
“Our Taylor Kohrs team worked diligently and safely through a pandemic to complete this much-needed modern and efficient facility for Adams County residents who rely on the area’s gravel road network,” said Taylor Kohrs’ Senior Project Manager David Solonycze.
