Castle Rock Utilities Completes
Taylor Kohrs completes construction of the Town of Castle Rocks Utilities Operations and Maintenance Facility. The new 20,371sf facility allows the Utilities Department to consolidate their staff from four separate buildings. The administration facility includes enhanced administrative space, work shop space, training facilities, a water meter testing shop and a public meeting area. Sustainable features include reclaimed beetle kill pine wall paneling, LED lighting with occupancy sensors, HVAC system with Energy Recovery Ventilation Units and reused asphalt millings for the parking lot surfacing.

Taylor Kohrs has completed the aquatic center for Banning Lewis Ranch community in Colorado Springs. The project endured the stormy weather this spring and opened in time for residents to enjoy this summer. The pool features a zero-entry area, slide, river, water features, locker rooms, lifeguard station and mechanical room. Another wonderful addition to their beautiful community.

Taylor Kohrs has started construction on Castle Rock’s new Operations and Maintenance Building. The 20,000 sq ft building will house operation staff, provide office space, work shop space, training facilities, equipment storage, a water meter test shop, locker rooms, break room, and a public meeting area.
Mental Health Center of Denver – Child and Family Community Center Awarded
Mental Health Center of Denver Awarded
Taylor Kohrs was recently awarded this 36,000sf education and community center. This one-of-a-kind center will combine healthy living practices, educational supports, community-building programs, and mental health services in one location with the goal of transforming an entire community.
The Center includes an outpatient clinic, early childhood, school based health care, day treatment, therapeutic preschool facilities and administrative operations. The building will also include space for family support services, a dental clinic and flex community area. The 2.8 acre site will include a sensory garden, community garden and an urban farm. In 2012, Taylor Kohrs completed the Recovery Center renovation for MHCD.
