An adaptive re-use project creating 28 condominiums, three of which are affordable, within the former 1950s Marycrest convent building. The entire three-story building with basement had asbestos abatement and the east wing was demolished to create 37 parking spaces. The building received all new MEP systems including LED lights, low flow fixtures, energy efficient windows, and additional exterior wall insulation. All new associated site work, utilities and landscaping was installed. The original exterior brick, clay “S” tile roof, and elevator were preserved. Residents share communal spaces including a dining area with kitchen and meeting space found in the renovated basement, along with outdoor play spaces, gardens and common areas.
