Taylor Kohrs collaborated with SEH and the City of Longmont for Longmont Fire District. For work to commence at Fire Station No. 6, the firefighters had to be relocated into a temporary facility for the abatement and demolition of the existing fire station. Taylor Kohrs then constructed a two-story, 11,246 sf structural steel building with insulated metal panels featuring five pull-through apparatus bays, a heated concrete apron on the north side of the station, a fire pole, fitness room, offices, kitchenette, gear room, and six bunk rooms.
