Taylor Kohrs partnered with Morgan Community College and Canon Design to remove an replace damaged and non-ADA compliant sidewalks around several buildings on campus.
At the Aspen Hall building the ramps, stairs, and handrails were replace at the west entrance of the building, along with the deaccession and removal of the existing “Harvest” artwork. On the east side of Cottonwood and Aspen Hall, the main ADA sidewalk was replaced to be complaint and make it easier to access the entries of the buildings. The campus Bookstore had the stairs and handrails removed and replaced at the dock and towards the east entrance of the Student Center. Bloedorn Lecture Hall received a new ADA ramp and a sump pit with pump that includes proper drainage. At Cottonwood Hall, the sidewalk storm chases were
replaced along with remediating drainage issues.
